Finance Administrator Role

 

A Finance Administrator supports the financial operations of a business by managing transactional processes, maintaining accurate records and assisting with reporting, compliance and administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, payments, expenses and purchase orders
  • Maintain accurate financial records and data entry in systems
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and account monitoring
  • Support payroll, budgeting and month-end reporting tasks
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal teams on finance matters
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team


Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in finance, bookkeeping or accounting support roles
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and documentation
  • Proficient in finance software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Excel
  • High level of accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
