The Role
As a Support Officer at TAFE SA, you'll provide high-quality admin and frontline support. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering friendly, solution-focused support via phone, email & in-person
- Assisting with enrolments, accounts & general enquiries
- Supporting teams with admin tasks & information access
- Maintaining accurate records (database, Microsoft Office)
- Collaborating with colleagues across campuses
- Upholding student-centred values in a dynamic setting

- Intrastate and interstate travel may be required

The Role
As a Support Coordinator at TAFE SA, you'll play a key role in delivering student-centred services while also supporting team operations and mentoring frontline staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide accurate, timely, and student-focused customer service, resolving complex enquiries and escalating when needed
- Supervise and assist support officers, including mentoring and coaching
- Assist Team Leaders with workforce planning and resource coordination
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across service delivery
- Ensure the effective implementation and ongoing review of polices, procedures and systems
- Perform complex administrative functions to support core business operations
- Maintain accurate and compliant records, ensuring data security and integrity

- Leadership position working with SA Government leading a Customer Service team

The Role
This Team Leader role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contact Centre leader to mentor and coach a team of around 15 phone-based Customer Service professionals. You will lead a diverse team slightly north of the CBD who are responsible for the delivery of an exceptional student experience for all inbound enquires via phone, email and webchat.
The successful candidate will be pivotal in promoting a student-centric culture, driving continuous improvement, and supporting various business support functions including the implementation of some exciting new technology into the centre.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily leadership and support of the student experience team providing mentoring, being an escalation point, and providing ongoing support and coaching
- Manage performance and results, ensuring daily operations align with business objectives
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives for business growth and diversity
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on training and development, workload planning and recruitment
- Uphold standards of compliance with health and safety policies and overall business standards
- Building strong relationships across other business units and functions that contribute alignment on wider business objectives

About You:
- Proven experience in providing strong leadership within a Contact Centre or Team Administration environment is essential for this position
- You must hold a current and satisfactory DHS Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance

- You will have highly developed interpersonal skills both written and verbal
