As a driven, upbeat, and collaborative strategic Academic Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for staff and students requiring academic-related assistance and you will be responsible for the operation, management, and coordination of all academic programs offered by the Campus. With your outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, you will come to the best possible outcomes as you manage numerous amount of relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Your new role

As the Academic Coordinator, you will oversee the design and structure of academic programs to ensure quality, currency, and consistency.  You will develop, design, and implement online courses and provide leadership and guidance to all members of the academic teams. 

Utilising previous leadership and teaching experience, you will ensure regular, expert professional development in learning & teaching is provided to all academic staff and students.  You will provide accurate and timely reports on all academic matters to senior/executive management as required.  You will advise executive management on recommended program/subject and process enhancements and future directions.
  
About you:
You have extensive relevant experience, outstanding organisation, and leadership skills with a passion for continuous improvement/development of your team. You are able to analyse and solve complex problems in a time-pressured environment.  You have experience in the operation, management, and coordination of academic programs. Prioritising and managing competing deadlines is a must. You pride yourself on your excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Post Graduate qualification
  • Proven leadership and teaching experience at a tertiary level
  • Commercial industry experience in the creative media industries
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
  • You will be subject to an AFP check and hold a working with children check, this will be at your own expense
