A key responsibility of this role will be maintaining accurate payroll deductions by setting up, adjusting, and ceasing deductions in line with payroll cycles and processing deadlines.
This is a temporary full-time position for an initial 3-month period, with the potential for extension depending on business needs.
The Role
Working within the finance team, this position will primarily support payroll functions within the Novated Leasing area of the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing payroll deductions in line with payroll schedules and cut-off dates
- Monitoring and reconciling payroll discrepancies
- Resolving payroll-related issues and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring all payroll actions, approvals, and changes are clearly documented
Position Details
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Geelong CBD location (no onsite parking; free nearby parking available)
- $40–$42 per hour + superannuation, depending on experience, paid on a weekly basis
- The role would be starting ASAP.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous payroll experience, supported by a general finance or administration background
- Qualifications in bookkeeping, accounting, or related (desirable)
- Experience using Horizon and/or Dynamics 365 (highly desirable)
