Job description

We are on the search for a Team Leader to lead a sales and development team for an international award-winning Design and Construction company for their Sydney CBD office.

Reporting into the head of sales, as the SDR Team Leader you will be their first hire and will help shape, mould and launch this new and exciting vertical for the business. 

As a Leader, this role will be a player coach between leading from the front, generating leads, creating campaigns and sprints, as well as leading and motivating the SDR's to research, canvas, call and set appointments for the consulting team.

Who will you be calling? Basically any business with a space, be it office, hospitality, retail or commercial.

More about the role itself:
  • Lead, motivate, and support the SDR team (2 individuals), ensuring strong performance and consistent delivery against KPIs
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Strategy, and Operations teams to maximise lead flow and campaign effectiveness
  • Actively participate in identifying and researching potential clients to build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Analyse data to identify trends, performance gaps, and optimisation opportunities
  • A player coach role that will see you lead by example and show first-hand how it is done 

What we are looking for in a Team Leader:
  • Experience in managing a phone based SDR or Sales team
  • A solid understanding of lead generation 
  • Exceptional training and development skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team by example
  • Knowledge of the Design, Construction, Architecture or Consulting industry would be fantastic but essential 
  • High attention to detail and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 + Super (This is negotiable depending on experience)
