Our client plays a vital role in the community, supporting older Australians to live independently through flexible, person-centred home care tailored to individual needs and lifestyles.

The Role:
As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising care rosters to ensure services are delivered efficiently, on time, and in line with care plans.

Based in Melbourne CBD, this is a high-volume, fast-paced coordination and scheduling role is suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic contact centre or customer operations environment. You will manage end-to-end scheduling, allocate nurses and support workers, respond to last-minute changes, and ensure continuity of care for every customer.
  • Building and maintaining effective rosters in line with customer care plans
  • Managing shift allocations and workforce availability
  • Coordinating urgent and same-day changes
  • Liaising with customers, families, and service providers to confirm schedules
  • Managing high volumes of competing priorities and system updates in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with service standards
  • Proactively identifying and resolving scheduling gaps
This role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining a positive customer experience.

About You:

  • Proven experience in scheduling, rostering, workforce planning, or service coordination
  • Experience in a fast-paced contact centre or customer operations environment highly regarded
  • Confident communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and managing high volumes of tasks
  • Experience in aged care, disability, or community services is advantageous but not essential
What’s On Offer:
  • $75,000 + super
  • Hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 days from home)
  • Melbourne CBD location
  • Set roster between 7am–7pm (7.6 hours per day)
  • Occasional Saturday work (rotated with a day in lieu)
  • 2 weeks paid training with strong onboarding support
  • Start date: 10th or 24th of March
