About the position:
Based in Torrensville and reporting to the CFO and General Manager this key role is responsible for maintaining financial systems and ensuring accurate, timely reporting across the company.
This role will require strategic input and collaboration with Senior Management, Directors and other stakeholders while maintaining oversight of a small accounts team. It is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a passion for finance and a desire to drive excellence.
Duties will include:
- Record, classify, and maintain financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, banks and external accountants
- Assist in yearly budgeting and enter budgets into Greentree.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax payments.
- Manage journal entries and reconcile bank, debtor, stock, and balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and process depreciation calculations.
- Manage shareholder loan accounts and calculate dividend payments.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts while managing credit card transactions.
- Prepare BAS returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide payroll support and liaise with external accountants

This is not an entry-level role, this is a critical role in the business vital to its success.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software, ideally MYOB or Greentree
- Strong Organisational Skills
- High levels of business acumen and communication skills
- Experience leading an admin or accounts team will be highly regarded
- CA or CPA will be highly regarded
- Permanent Residency or Citizenship in Australia
