About the Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role. You'll run the show with a small sales team, taking ownership of showroom presentation and performance driving the delivery of industry-leading service.
Because the store is new, you'll be involved in setting it up and building the team—including the recruitment of sales consultants. It's a genuine opportunity to build something rather than inherit it.
The showroom operates Monday to Sunday. You're not expected to cover all hours, but as Manager you'll need to work at least one weekend day as part of your regular schedule as they're the busiest times.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and coaching a small sales team to hit targets and deliver a fast, personalised customer experience
- Selling across in-store, phone, and online channels — leading by example, not from the sideline
- Owning showroom presentation, stock control and daily reconciliations
- Rostering your team across trade shows, events, and home shows
- Handling customer escalations and auditing quotes and orders to set the dispatch team up for success
- Contributing to the ongoing recruitment and performance management of your team
- 3+ years in sales, with a track record of actually hitting numbers
- Experience leading or supervising a small team
- Someone who moves fast and keeps the customer experience personal — "Speed Kills" is the team's mantra, and it's taken seriously
- Organised and process-driven, with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly
- Someone who is honest, reliable, and will take owenrship of the store and it's success
