Job description

SMAART Recruitment is once again partnering with one of Australia's leading telecommunications companies. They are currently expanding their business centre in the heart of Dandenong and because of this we are looking for a new Sales & Account Manager  to join their successful and award winning sales and support team.
  
As a Sales & Account Manager, you will lead business development and account management across Melbourne South. You will work with a diverse portfolio of small-to-medium sized businesses, providing advanced solutions and best practice guidance to help them integrate tailored tech solutions.
  
In this role, you will be a visible leader in the local business community—attending networking events and BNI groups to strengthen your presence and uncover new opportunities. You will also support the broader account management team with technical knowledge and coordinate with internal departments to turn business goals into a reality.
  
Paid training will be provided as well as ongoing product training and career succession opportunities you would not find in a smaller organisation.
  
With a central location accessible from East and South-East Melbourne, you will be provided with on-site parking and all the tools of the trade to be the best you, you can be.
   
More about the position:
  • Full time permanent position
  • Regular office hours, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • $80,000 + Super + $15,000 Car Allowance + Uncapped Commission (OTE $180,000)

What we are looking for:
  • Previous experience in B2B sales, account management or business development
  • Experience in the Telco or ICT industry is highly regarded
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills (BNI experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Self-driven and confident working independently across a regional territory
  • Ability to provide expert guidance on tech solutions to achieve business outcomes
  • A 'can do, will do' attitude with high levels of motivation and integrity
