We are currently recruiting for two Instructional Designers (Junior and Experienced level) to join the collaborative team at their training institute.

Across both roles, you'll be involved in designing, developing and improving industry leading, nationally recognised training programs and blended learning solutions, working closely with SMEs and internal stakeholders.
- At a Junior level, you will:
- Develop engaging learning and assessment materials (guides, workbooks, PowerPoints, session plans)
- Apply instructional design frameworks across the course lifecycle
- Structure and sequence content, ensuring relevance and compliance
- Support improvements based on feedback and regulations
- Assist trainers with learning materials and ongoing updates
- At an Experienced level, you will:
- Lead end-to-end instructional design projects across accredited and non-accredited programs
- Drive validation, quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Design structured learning pathways and blended learning solutions
- Act as a key contact for trainers and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance across all learning materials in collaboration with internal teams and Subject Matter Experts
- Contribute to broader training strategy, simulation design and benchmarking
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) - essential for both positions
- Tertiary qualification in learning design, education or a related field - highly regarded but not necessary to apply
- Collaborative, proactive and comfortable using Microsoft Office
Junior - Exposure to instructional design or learning development
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Interest in learning & development and a career in instructional design
Senior - Experience in instructional design, ideally within VET/RTO sector
- Understanding of the VET sector and compliance (AQF, NVR, ASQA)
- Experience with nationally recognised training packages in an RTO
- Confidence leading validation, quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in managing multiple instructional design projects collaboratively
