This role sits within a supportive People & Culture team and is strongly recruitment-focused, supporting operational and entry-level office roles across a large, established workforce.

The role
Working closely with the HR team, you’ll manage recruitment processes from start to finish, while also providing payroll support as required.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on with managers and candidates and keeping recruitment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:
HR & Recruitment (primary focus)
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment for operational, blue-collar and junior office-based roles
  • Advertising roles, screening applications and conducting interviews
  • Managing recruitment documentation, contracts and pre-employment processes
  • Preparing welcome packs and supporting onboarding alongside the HR team
  • Providing clear, timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers
  • Supporting general HR administration and ad-hoc team projects

Payroll support (secondary focus)
  • Providing payroll backup support when required
  • Assisting with fortnightly payroll tasks, including entering new starters and updates
  • Completing basic payroll checks to ensure accuracy
  • Supporting payroll-related reporting and administration
  • Working within Chris21 / iChris payroll systems (experience preferred)
About you

You’ll ideally bring:
  • Experience running end-to-end recruitment processes (internal HR or agency)
  • Confidence conducting interviews and providing recruitment feedback
  • Some payroll exposure, with the ability to step in when needed
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach
What’s on offer
  • Full-time 12-month fixed-term contract (parental leave cover)
  • Start date: early June (flexible for the right candidate)
  • One RDO per month
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • Free onsite parking
