Job description

Why this role?

With a strong national footprint and long-standing partnerships with employers, insurers and medical providers, the organisation is focused on delivering safe, timely and sustainable return-to-work outcomes across a complex and meaningful portfolio of claims.

In this field-based role, you’ll be working directly with injured workers and employers across workplaces, clinics and community settings, driving early intervention and recovery outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll manage early intervention support and return-to-work coordination by:
  • Delivering face-to-face support to injured workers and employers
  • Developing and driving return-to-work (RTW) plans with key stakeholders
  • Conducting on-site visits across workplaces and medical clinics
  • Providing clear guidance on entitlements, obligations and recovery pathways
  • Coaching employers to support safe and sustainable RTW outcomes
  • Supporting workers through goal setting and recovery planning
  • Collaborating with claims, technical and medical specialists
  • Monitoring risks, compliance and legislative requirements
What’s in it for you
  • $80,000 base salary + $14,000 car allowance
  • Field-based role – varied, active and people-focused
  • Hybrid working model, optional 9 day fortnight or Monthly RDO!
  • High autonomy within a structured national organisation
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Exposure to meaningful and complex claims work
  • Clear career pathways across claims and specialist streams
  • Employee wellbeing and support programs
About you

You’re confident working in people-facing situations and comfortable navigating sensitive conversations.
  • Experience in claims, rehab, allied health, case management or strong customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication skills across face-to-face, phone and written channels
  • Ability to build trust quickly with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Ability to manage a mobile, autonomous workload
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Current driver’s licence (essential)
The environment

This is a fast-paced, mobile claims role combining field visits, stakeholder engagement, and structured return-to-work planning.
You’ll have autonomy over your territory while being supported by experienced claims and technical teams.
It’s ideal for someone looking to move away from a desk-based role into a more dynamic, field-driven career with purpose and impact in workers compensation.
