We’re partnering with a government organisation that delivers essential housing and community services to individuals and families. They are seeking a compassionate and resilient Customer Service Officer to join their Contact Centre team on a temporary assignment.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a service that supports people during important and sometimes challenging life situations.
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: 27th April 2026
- Duration: 3-month temporary contract
- ASO2 pay rate: $37.51 per hour + super
- Full-time hours - Monday to Friday (no weekends!)
- Adelaide CBD location
- Potential for extension
- Be the first point of contact for customers seeking support and information
- Manage a high volume of inbound calls in a professional and timely manner
- Provide clear, accurate information while demonstrating empathy and understanding
- Navigate multiple systems to record and update customer information
- Assist customers experiencing sensitive or complex circumstances
- Previous experience in a customer service or contact centre role
- Strong communication skills with a calm and empathetic approach
- High level of resilience and ability to manage challenging conversations
- Current National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
- Must be available to commence from the 27th of April
- Comfortable working with IT systems and phone-based technologies
- A genuine desire to help people and contribute to the community
