Are you a highly organised administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy supporting a team, managing competing priorities and delivering exceptional customer service?
We are currently seeking a Claims Administrator to join a well-established insurance business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service experience who is looking to build a long-term career within the insurance industry.

About the Role: Working as the central support person within the Claims team, you will play a critical role in ensuring claims are prepared, processed and managed efficiently. You will provide day-to-day support to six Claims Assessors and a Senior Claims Assessor, acting as the key link between customers, brokers and the assessor team.

This is a fast-paced, process-driven environment where attention to detail, organisation and the ability to multitask are essential.

Some key responsibilities include:
  • Registering new claims and maintaining accurate records
  • Requesting and following up outstanding claim documentation
  • Liaising with claimants, brokers, medical providers and other stakeholders
  • Responding to customer enquiries and providing updates throughout the claims process
  • Managing diaries, appointments and claim-related administration
  • Supporting the assessment team with investigations and claim preparation
About You: 
  • Previous administration and customer service experience 
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work
  • The ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
Previous claims/insurance experience will be highly regarded but is not essential. Candidates with strong administration and customer service backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

What's on Offer?
  • Salary of $65,000 - $70,000 + Super
  • Sydney CBD-based office location
  • Hybrid working arrangement with up to 2 days work from home once fully trained and competent in the role
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
