At SMAART Recruitment, we’re partnering with a leading facilities services provider to find a driven and personable Business Development Manager to join their growing Sydney/NSW team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who likes getting out and building relationships, enjoys hunting for new business and driving commercial growth.

You’ll be stepping into a well-established business with a strong reputation across ANZ for their commitment to customer satisfaction and environmental sustainability.

The Role and Responsibilities
  • Driving new business growth across for professional cleaning services across commercial properties and large sites
  • Building and managing a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities
  • Getting out on the road across Sydney and NSW to meet clients and grow relationships
  • Delivering tailored proposals, tenders and presentations to win new business
  • Working closely with internal teams to support ongoing growth strategies
  • Tracking performance and identifying opportunities to improve results

  • $90,000 – $110,000 + Super + Comms (conservative OTE $140K++)

About you
  • Proven experience in BDM or sales roles, with a focus on new business development
  • Confident communicator who enjoys building new relationships
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own time and territory
  • Experience in tenders highly regarded but not needed to apply
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a drive to succeed
