UX Designer Role

 

A UX Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that meet both user needs and business goals. The role blends research, design, and testing to improve usability, accessibility and satisfaction across digital products and services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and translate insights into design solutions
  • Create wireframes, prototypes and user flows to guide development
  • Collaborate with product, dev and UI teams to implement designs
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback
  • Ensure design meets accessibility and usability standards
  • Maintain and contribute to design systems and documentation
  • Stay informed on UX best practices, tools and trends


Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in UX Design, HCI or related field
  • Experience designing digital products, apps or websites
  • Proficient in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Adobe XD)
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Skilled in wireframing, journey mapping and interaction design
  • Experience with usability testing and user research methods
  • Familiar with responsive design, accessibility and basic HTML/CSS
