PPC Manager Role
A PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising paid advertising campaigns across search engines and digital platforms. The role focuses on driving high-quality traffic, maximising ROI, and achieving performance targets through data-driven strategies and continuous testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage PPC strategies across platforms like Google Ads and Bing
- Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to optimise campaigns
- Create, monitor, and optimise ad copy, bids and landing pages
- Track and analyse campaign performance metrics and KPIs
- Manage budgets and allocate spend for maximum ROI
- A/B test ads and landing pages to improve conversion rates
- Stay updated on platform changes and digital advertising trends
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Marketing, Business or related field (sometimes preferred)
- Proven experience managing PPC campaigns at scale
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads and paid social platforms
- Analytical skills and proficiency with Google Analytics and Excel
- Experience with conversion tracking and attribution models
- Understanding of CRO (conversion rate optimisation) principles
- Google Ads certification or similar credentials preferred
