The Company: 

Step up and lead the charge in transforming the workplace for retail, hospo and wrehousing workers! We're partnering with a key player in the labour and industrial relations arena to find a dynamic Union Organiser who's ready to advocate for the rights of workers in retail, fast food and warehousing sectors.

More about the opprotunity:
  • Identify new opportunties to fgrow the member base of the union through effective account management in existing workplaces.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, workplaces, and key stakeholders across a diverse range of industries.
  • Organise and lead campaigns to improve working conditions and assist in negotiating enterprise agreements for your members.
  • Represent members in discussions, meetings, and negotiations with employers.
  • Identify opportunities to grow membership across the sector and support the union’s objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive initiatives and achieve strategic goals.
Who we are looking for:  
  • You are confident with excellent communication and relationship-building skills - creating welcoming interactions effortlessly
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, retail management, or similar people-focused environements wil be highly regarded.
  • Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Committed to fairness, social justice, and supporting others.
  • A valid driver’s licence is required; travel across Metro Adelaide and regional areas may be required.
