An exciting opportunity awaits a highly organised and proactive Senior Business Support Officer to join a purpose-driven organisation making a real impact across the health and community sectors. This full-time role offers a 6-month temporary contract with strong potential for extension or transition to permanent employment.
About the Organisation:
Located in Eight Mile Plains, this independent, not-for-profit organisation is funded by the Australian Government and dedicated to improving health outcomes in Brisbane South. Through commissioning services, co-designing programs, and collaborating with healthcare providers, they ensure people receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to executive and corporate teams
- Manage diaries, meetings, travel arrangements, board documentation, and reporting
- Assist with event coordination, credit card reconciliation, and document control
- Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Answer reception calls (approx. 10/day) and support ad hoc tasks
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to support reception and general office duties
- EA, Secretary, or Personal Assistant experience is highly desirable.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (required for temp-to-perm transition)
- Must be available to start next week
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Hybrid work model: 1 day WFH
- Free onsite parking; access to a car is recommended
- $40/hour + Super
- Immediate start
