SMAART Recruitment  is partnering with a highly respected and innovative woodcare company to find a driven and experienced Sales Representative/Business Development Executive to join their team in Metro Sydney.

About the Role:

As an integral part of their trade sales team, you will be responsible for bring on new clients in the design, building and architecture vertical as well as nurturing and growing key relationships. Your focus will be on driving sales, increasing market share, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with key accounts withing the building and design industry
  • Achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across different logos to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Conduct regular store visits and training sessions.
  • Manage promotional activities and merchandising.
  • Accurate forecasting and reporting.
About You:
  • Proven track record in Sales or Account Management, preferably within the building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG or the Building and Architecture industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.     
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
About The Role:
  • Base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 + Super (Depending on experience).
  • 20% commission/bonus.
