Job description

SMAART Recruitment is proud to partner with a highly successful Australian-based manufacturing and product development company. This company develops beautiful, high-performance interior acoustics and industrial products with a simple goal: Create inspiring products for spaces where people come together to work, learn and live. Making waves on the global stage, the Australian-based team works hard to design and manufacture innovative products for award-winning interiors, both locally and overseas.

Due to the company's growth in Victoria, they are now looking for a Production Scheduler to join the team at their new Essendon Fields site. This is a great opportunity to build your career in manufacturing with a supportive and fast-growing company.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7AM - 3PM (some flexibility available)
Location: Start with training in Bayswater (travel support provided depending on location), then move to Essendon Fields in August 2025.  This is an on-site role, no work-from-home
Start Date: ASAP

THE ROLE:
The Production Scheduler plays a key role in planning and managing production schedules to ensure efficient use of machines, materials, and labour. The goal is to deliver on time, minimise delays, and go above and beyond to meet customer expectations.
  • Help plan daily production schedules and keep things running smoothly
  • Make sure materials and tools are ready for production each day
  • Keep track of stock and work with the warehouse to order what’s needed
  • Help move products between different sites when needed
  • Look for ways to make work easier and more efficient

ABOUT YOU:
You bring a positive, friendly, and approachable attitude, along with excellent communication skills that help you build rapport quickly at all levels. Our client values hard work but also believes in having fun, laughing often, and fostering strong team connections - and they’re looking for someone who shares these values.

In addition, you will have:
  • Some experience in admin, warehousing, manufacturing, or planning (or a willingness to learn)
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel; ERP experience preferred (Microsoft Dynamics ideal, but not essential), and you’re comfortable learning new systems and following processes
  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • A results-driven mindset with pride in delivering quality outcomes
THE PERKS:
  • Full-time permanent role
  • Salary starting around $90K + 12% Super
  • Travel allowance during training
  • Lots of training and support to grow your skills
  • Join a successful Aussie company with exciting growth plans
Think this could be a good fit but not sure if you have all the experience?   That’s Ok! If you’re interested but unsure if you tick all of the boxes, don’t hesitate to get in touch! We value motivation and a willingness to learn.  Click APPLY now or reach out to Jess at jess@smaart.com.au with any questions.
