We are seeking a motivated and improvement-driven AP/AR Bookkeeper, who wants to join a close-knit, collaborative team.

  • Flexible Part-time Role: 3 days per week between Mon-Fri
  • $45.00-$50.00 per hour + super
  • Initial 12-month duration  (casual contract) with potential to extend or become permanent
  • Regular office hours
  • Eastern/South Eastern Suburbs  with free on-site parking

Position summary

You’ll look after all aspects of AP/AR/Bookkeeping, and play a key role in providing insights into processes and helping implement improvements:
  • Full-function accounts payable: invoice processing, payments and reconciliations
  • Accounts receivable management: rebate claims, co-op marketing, reconciliations, and customer follow-ups
  • Bank, statement, and transactional reconciliations
  • Provide cross-functional finance support to Sales, Finance, and Operations teams
  • Manage customer accounts and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Generate AP/AR and financial reports as required
  • Proactively identify opportunities for system and process improvements
  • Contribute to finance projects and operational support initiatives
About You
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar AP/AR or bookkeeping role 
  • Experience within retail or wholesale sectors preferred
  • Sound technical skills, proficient in Excel and confident learning and navigating different finance systems and databases
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a continuous improvement mindset
  • The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with strong time management skills
  • Professional and approachable, with strong interpersonal skills
