We're looking for a talented Interior Design Specialist to join a close-knit team based in the heart of Cranbourne.
Our client is a highly regarded design studio specialising in cutting-edge commercial fit-outs. With a collaborative approach and a focus on creating spaces that bring clients' visions to life, they've built a reputation for delivering beautiful, functional environments.
In this role, you'll lead the design and documentation of commercial interior projects, working closely with clients to transform ideas into functional, compliant, and inspiring spaces.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead design development for commercial interior projects
- Develop engaging concepts, presentations, and mood boards that capture client vision
- Manage and coordinate documentation across all stages, from concept to handover
- Ensure projects meet compliance, accessibility and local standards
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors and the team to keep projects on track
- Balance design vision, budget, and functionality to achieve the best outcomes
- 3+ years' interior design experience with a strong portfolio of commercial projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Revit
- Proven experience delivering commercial designs from concept to completion
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to bring ideas to life visually and verbally
- Excellent spatial and conceptual design skills, balancing creativity with client objectives
- Confident working independently in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple projects
- Full Australian working rights (PR or Citizen)
- Availability to work full-time from the Cranbourne office (onsite parking provided)
- Permanent full-time role (Monday-Friday, office hours)
- $75,000 - $95,000 + super (negotiable based on experience)
