Job description

SMAART Recruitment is proud to partner with a global leader in Contractor Management Software, now seeking a Health and Safety (HSEQ) Coordinator to join their growing Sydney CBD team.

This is a great opportunity for a Health and Safety graduate or an early-career professional looking to move off-site and join a fast-paced, supportive office environment in the booming world of SaaS.

About the role:

With a global client base across mining, construction, manufacturing, engineering, utilities and renewables, their software plays a vital role in managing Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ).

In this role, you’ll review contractor HSEQ documentation, advise on legislation and compliance, and support both clients and internal teams.

It’s a varied, client-facing position where you’ll combine technical expertise with customer service: conducting desktop audits, answering queries, and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities:
  • Reviewing HSEQ documentation and processes for compliance and improvements
  • Researching and developing health and safety review protocols
  • Acting as a health and safety advisor for new and existing clients
  • Conducting meetings and training via phone, online, and face-to-face
  • Supporting new system implementations and project rollouts
  • Managing client account queries and maintaining strong relationships
What we’re looking for:
  • A degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong knowledge of WHS/OHS legislation, ISO standards and regulations
  • Strong computer skills; MS Office and web-based platforms
  • Proactive, approachable, with excellent communication skills
  • Organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Team player with a genuine focus on client/customer support
What’s in it for you?
  • Full-time permanent position $110,000 or $125,000 + super + bonus (base depending on experience level)
  • Full training and ongoing career development opportunities
  • Flexible hybrid working with complimentary lunch on office days
  • Team-building events, networking opportunities and a global AGM
  • International travel opportunities
  • Health and wellness benefits
  • Phone and travel reimbursement
If you’re ready to bring your HSEQ knowledge and/or experience to a fast-growing, people-first business with real career opportunities,  APPLY   now! For a confidential chat, contact Sonja at SMAART Recruitment on 03 8637 4401
