About the opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Contact Centre Manager to take charge of a high-performing yet consistently developing, outbound sales operation within the Insurance sector. This role is a chance to step into a senior leadership position where you’ll have full accountability for results, culture, and growth. This is an office-based role in Brisbane, offering the chance to be hands-on, visible, and directly connected with your team every day. 

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll be leading a team of six Team Leaders and more than eighty sales consultants. Your focus will be on lifting sales performance, embedding strong leadership capability, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You’ll be the type of leader who your Team Leaders look up to, guiding them with clear direction, mentoring, and the ability to step in confidently when performance or conduct issues need to be addressed.

About you: 

You will be successful in this role by driving sales conversions, managing attrition effectively, and ensuring compliance in a highly regulated environment. You’ll need to be across the numbers – from sales targets and conversion rates through to compliance and productivity metrics – and be able to speak to them confidently in order to influence behaviours and strategies across the centre.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in outbound sales leadership, within a call centre environment, ideally with a highly compliant and regulated industry such as insurance, or utilities etc.
  • You’ll have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, along with the ability to lead and inspire in fast-paced, high-volume operations.
  • You are resilient, have commercial acumen, and the confidence to manage upwards as well as lead from the front 
Specifics:

In return, you’ll receive a salary of $145K plus superannuation, with a bonus structure that rewards performance generously, hitting target would result in an extra $36K annually, but there is opportunity to earn a lot more.
