With operations spanning key export markets across Southeast Asia, they are recognised for their strong commitment to compliance, animal welfare, and transparent reporting. Their team prides itself on maintaining high standards, fostering collaborative working relationships, and continually improving processes to support safe and ethical export operations.

What's in it for you:
  • $70k + super (pro rata)
  • Starting on the 5th of January, 2026
  • 12-month fixed-term contract, 4 days per week with flexible hours
  • Based in the heart of Adelaide's CBD - close to public transport
  • Excellent work-life balance with stability and flexibility
  • Interstate travel for annual end-of-year business events, adding variety and connection beyond day-to-day responsibilities
  • Work alongside experienced professionals who value teamwork, open communication, and knowledge-sharing

About the role:
As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring all livestock consignments standards and internal reporting requirements are met. Working closely with the wider team and overseas customers, you’ll manage traceability data, monitor compliance deadlines, and follow up on outstanding reports from international markets, including Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

Key responsibilities:
  • Receive, verify, and upload fortnightly traceability reports into the company's database.
  • Monitor compliance across all consignments, identify missing, overdue, or non-compliant data.
  • Liaise with overseas customers to obtain outstanding or corrected reports.
  • Investigate discrepancies and assist with resolving traceability issues.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised records aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to continuous improvements in reporting processes.

About you:
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in following up with stakeholders across multiple countries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database systems
  • The ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and stay organised
  • An understanding of ESCAS or livestock export operations (advantageous but not mandatory)
