About the role:
As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring all livestock consignments standards and internal reporting requirements are met. Working closely with the wider team and overseas customers, you’ll manage traceability data, monitor compliance deadlines, and follow up on outstanding reports from international markets, including Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and upload fortnightly traceability reports into the company's database.
- Monitor compliance across all consignments, identify missing, overdue, or non-compliant data.
- Liaise with overseas customers to obtain outstanding or corrected reports.
- Investigate discrepancies and assist with resolving traceability issues.
- Maintain accurate and well-organised records aligned with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to continuous improvements in reporting processes.
About you:
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in following up with stakeholders across multiple countries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database systems
- The ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and stay organised
- An understanding of ESCAS or livestock export operations (advantageous but not mandatory)
