Inventory Control Specialist Role
An Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, managing inventory records and supporting efficient supply chain and warehouse operations through strong attention to detail and system accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across storage locations
- Conduct regular stock counts, audits and variance investigations
- Maintain accurate inventory records in systems and databases
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse and operations teams
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and inefficiencies
- Assist with receiving, storing and distributing stock
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and policies
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in inventory control, warehousing or logistics
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Excel
- Understanding of stock flow, cycle counts and reconciliation
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Organised and methodical approach to tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
