Operations Manager Role

 

An Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day administrative process, and operational functions that enable smooth business performance. The role ensures teams, systems and workflows are running efficiently to support strategic and commercial objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise business processes, systems and workflows
  • Oversee administrative functions including resourcing, scheduling and logistics
  • Ensure cross-team coordination and operational alignment
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
  • Support compliance, documentation and internal reporting
  • Identify operational gaps and implement solutions for efficiency
  • Collaborate with leadership to support planning and delivery


Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Business Administration, Operations or a related field (sometimes preferred(
  • Proven experience in operations, project coordination or business support
  • Strong understanding of process optimisation and resource management
  • Skilled in budget tracking, scheduling and documentation
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of risk, compliance and internal controls is a plus
