Position Overview:
Working in the risk and credit teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the credit risk management and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements. This position will see you:
- Monitor credit report alerts and flag loans with associated risks.
- Assist with the preparation of documentation for debt referral to external collections.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex collection matters
- Act as a subject matter expert on internal compliance regarding credit policy.
- Contribute to ongoing risk and governance business projects.
- Process default listings in compliance with OAIC guidelines.
- Manage loans with clients under external administration
- Liaising with external administrators.
- Assessing suitability for trade credit insurance claims
- You possess exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
- Ability to critically analyse situations and apply ‘out of the box’ thinking to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work cross functionally with different teams within the business
- Ability to work prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment
- Ability to autonomously manage an array of monthly tasks
