  • Reporting to the General Manager of Mission and Membership you will be responsible for the day to day supervision and leadership of a small team of volunteers in the contact centre.

The role specifics
You will work with your team members to help them achieve one key outcome - great quality conversations and positive experiences for their customers. 
In this role you will lead, guide, support and motivate your team taking calls and responding to emails and providing aid to those in our community experiencing hardship.
You will also engage with other stakeholders across the organisation including local conferences (parishes) ensuring they receive all of the support they need.
You will coordinate and supervise volunteers including inductions, rostering and training. You will also review and appraise staff performance, addressing training and development gaps.
This role will suit someone with leadership experience, preferably in the community sector. We need someone who is passionate about giving back and genuinely motivated by making a difference in one’s life.
The successful candidate for this position will not be motivated by money or status, but by making a genuine difference in our community with a charitable nature.
The Ideal Candidate
You're someone who wants to work with, develop and grow team members. You are a natural leader and can coach in real time. You can deal with escalations easily and lead by example. 
You will also have:
  • Ideally you will have demonstrated experience in a Contact Centre leadership position.
  • You possess strong coaching skills and effortlessly connect with people
  • Understanding of the day-to-day operations of a Contact Centre and how to drive operational performance and improvements
  • Demonstrated experience with Contact Centre technology and Quality Assurance
  • You have advanced communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisation, time management and planning capability
  • You put your customer at the core of everything you do
  • You have advanced levels of emotional intelligence making level decisions and navigating emotions.
  • Completion of High school Certificate is mandatory for consideration for this role
  • Current Police Check is compulsory also (if you don’t have one we can arrange)
