A large part of this will be ensuring safety standards & compliance are being met across the business.  It will give you a unique view of the workings of a complex manufacturing business & be a trailblazer at a really exciting time of growth for the company. The role will be a mix of being based in Heidelberg, Bayswater & Richmond with a view to based in the Richmond office by the end of the year. 

We are looking for a naturally engaging person who will be working closely with and supporting the Operations Manager. You are passionate about health & safety, compliance & have a strong desire to learn how a successful Australian business operates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the company in a professional, positive and friendly manner whilst demonstrating a relentless desire to achieve clearly communicated business goals and objectives.

About you:
• 2-3 years experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing
Certification in Health & Safety highly regarded
• Effective phone and face to face communication and written skills
• A team player who enjoys project ownership with the ability to prioritise tasks accordingly
• Exceptional attention to detail and highly motivated
• Strong business acumen and highly numerate
• Confident with software and systems and exposure to Excel
• Successful completion of university-level degree
