We have an exciting opportunity to work for a multinational leader in the marine supplies industry with over 80 years in business. They are an industry leader with headquarters in the USA who supply and distribute marine engines, propellers, gauges, parts and accessories for boats.

This is a 6 month contract position with great hours Monday to Friday, from 8.30am – 4.30pm

Our client requires a Product Manager to support the growth of engine sales in the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific regions.  Some of your duties will include however will not be limited to:
  • Develop appropriate engine product range, pricing and availability to maintain and grow market share
  • Develop programs to drive sales growth within engine product groups
  • Work with the global engine product team to ensure product is appropriate for ANZP market and in line with customer and consumer expectations
  • Foster relationships with key OEM’s / dealers and work with key customers offering new products for a dynamic rapidly changing industry
  • Develop and offer comprehensive product knowledge training packages to staff and dealer / OEM’s
  • Continually monitor market activity and build strategies to adapt to competitors’ prices, programs and plans
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Diploma or degree in Commerce, Sales, Marketing or Business is preferred
  • Minimum 2 -3 years in Sales or Product Management experience within marine, power equipment or automotive industries
  • Experience with strategic pricing and product ranging
  • Experience with sales program analysis and development
  • Solid history of meeting and exceeding sales budgets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams and Power Point (Intermediate)
  • Previous use of Power BI (desirable)
