The Role
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of operations of the Food & Beverage domain as well as the other facilities included in the venue. You will be working and supported by an additional Operational Manager and be working closely with the Head Chef, F&B team, facilitators, and management team. We are looking for a personable, empathetic, and people-orientated manager to lead our passionate team of hospitality specialists. To be successful in this role you will need strong leadership and great interpersonal skills, and the ability to train, mentor, and empower a team. The company prides itself in giving its customers an unforgettable experience and aims to care for all guest's wants and desires. This venue is open 7 days a week, therefore the perfect candidate would have flexible availability and be able to thrive in a busy environment.
 
What you'll need to bring to this role:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience within a hospitality/venue operations role
  • Experience within a large venue or sporting venue is desirable
  • Ability to maintain and build relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and project management skills
  • Valid RSA and Food Handlers accredited
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Has a strong customer focus and is committed to delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Strong ability to delegate and prioritize tasks
  • HR - hiring, management and coaching of front-of-house staff
