The Role
You will be focused on maximising cash flow and minimising net bad debt through collection activities as well as providing excellent customer service.  This is an operational role responsible for the day-to-day collections activity on internally managed delinquent accounts.
  
The role involves but is not limited to debt collection, dispute resolution, payment plan negotiation, and assisting the hardship team as required.

You will be handling a variety of outbound and inbound calls, emails and web chat inquiries to residential and business customers. You will be switched on, have tough skin, be able to work across many systems, and have heaps of empathy negotiating with customers the best outcomes.

Key requirements & about you
- You have at least 12 months of experience in credit and collections role
- You are customer-focused, a good listener with heaps of empathy!
- You take ownership, provide sound support and leave the customer happy.
- Prior experience in energy, customer service & sales is highly regarded. 
- You are happy to put in the hours and want to grow with the company
- You know how to use Excel
