We are currently on the lookout for multiple Claims Consultants to join our client in their energetic and collaborative team. located in the CBD, conveniently close to public transport and all the great lunch hot spots.  Although this is a claims role, we’re not only looking for experience in insurance, we also encourage those with a strong inbound customer service background to apply.

What's the role?

Your role as a Claims Consultant will see you answering all inbound enquiries by providing genuine customer service to new and existing customers. Every call is different, and it’s about having real conversations!
  • Managing all inquiries to ensure a fair and reasonable outcome for all customers who are making a claim
  • Processing and lodging all types of claims on behalf of customers
  • Handling all confidential settlements discreetly and in a professional manner

What experience do I need? 
First and foremost, we are looking for people who genuinely strive to provide great customer service and are driven by outcomes.
  • Adaptability is as important as anything right now given the constantly changing landscape we are in.
  • Previous experience working within customer service or Call Centres (Finance and Insurance will be highly regarded) 
  • You must be an effective communicator both verbally and also written and pride yourself on your active listening skills.
  • learning new systems and technologies will be an important part of your onboarding, so a desire to learn and grow is important
  • You will be a problem solver who genuinely wants to help others and be able to think outside of the square to find solutions.
  • Given the customer service nature of the role. Your empathy and ability to walk a mile in your customers’ shoes will be imperative to your success.
